Our Team

Dimitar (“Dimi”) Atanassov is an associate in Becker’s Litigation Department.  Mr. Atanassov concentrates his practice in corporate and complex commercial litigation in both the New Jersey and New York.  Mr. Atanassov earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law in 2022.  While in law school, Mr. Atanassov was selected for internships with the Hon. Kelly O’Neill Levy in New York Supreme Court and the Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York.

Prior to joining Becker, Mr. Atanassov worked at a boutique law firm practicing in New York and New Jersey, concentrating on commercial litigation matters, defending individuals and institutions. Prior to entering private practice Mr. Atanassov served as an Assistant District Attorney in Office of the Richmond County District Attorney, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor criminal cases from inception to disposition.
