Howard A. Vex, Esq.
Howard A. Vex brings over 25 years of comprehensive labor relations and labor law experience and serves as counsel to the Firm. Mr. Vex obtained his education from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR), followed by Rutgers Law School, where he concentrated his studies in labor law and litigation and was named a Sydney Reitman Labor Law Scholar.
Mr. Vex worked for Jackson, Lewis, P.C. and subsequently led the Labor and Employment Law Group of Courter, Kobert & Cohen P.C.
Mr. Vex has effectively served as Labor Counsel for corporations of all sizes, from Fortune 500 Companies to small family-owned businesses, in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Vex has also held numerous appointments as Labor Counsel for public sector clients, including dozens of municipalities, school districts, county agencies and public libraries. He excels in all areas of labor law and litigation, including, but not limited to: collective bargaining, arbitration and grievances, strikes and picket lines, unfair labor practices, union elections and all other matters regulated by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC).
Mr. Vex served for three years as Chapter President of his local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and currently serves as Chapter Legislative Chair and Diversity Chair. He is frequently invited to provide legal training to human resource professionals and attorneys.
